Melatonin

Melatonin is a hormone, produced by pineal gland in darkness and its secretion stops when the eyes are exposed to light. A 2005 study found out that melatonin at doses 0,3 mg is effective in helping people fall asleep. One of my colleagues, a Atlanta Translation services worker accidentally came across this study and told me that this might be effective and help me with my insomnia. He also said that as he got interested in the issue he has found an article about light therapy. So I guess I need to see my doctor this week. I hope it will help.
