Wouldn’t most people be too embarrassed to admit to such behavior to their closest family and friends, let alone an audience of millions? Haven’t mental health professionals spent years driving it into parents heads that treating your children this way will scar them fashion tips for girls life?
Well, see this is what Amy Chua’s outlandish pronouncement fails to take into account. The future. Yeah, her dragon mother, sorry tiger mother methods worked on these eager to please teenage girls. What of their future? Oh wait, they are still with the tiger mother. The true test of her methods will be in seeing what kind of people these two girls will grow into. Will they grow into the successes that Amy Chua so desperately wants them to become or will they grow up bitter and angry about their childhoods? Only time will tell. If Amy Chua was as smart as she wants us all to believe she is, she would have considered this before she put pen to paper and wrote this outlandish article.
